DUI Crackdown Begins This Week in Tulare/Kings Counties | Crime
The "Avoid the 18" Tulare/Kings Counties DUI Taskforce will begin its crackdown on Drunk Drivers and those driving without a license this week.
Checkpoints, Multi Agency DUI Task Force deployments and DUI saturation patrols will be scheduled around the two counties during the Winter Holiday Anti-DUI Campaign December 14 through January 1, 2013.
The Avoid the 18 DUI Task Force is composed of 18 local law enforcement agencies throughout Tulare/Kings Counties which have joined together to combat drunk driving in the cities and unincorporated areas.
The program is called the Avoid DUI Campaign because motorists can "avoid" being arrested by planning for safe, sober rides before the celebration and never drinking and driving.
