The Fresno County Public Library’s 2015 Summer Reading Program, “Read to the Rhythm” kicks off from 9 A.M. – Noon, Saturday June 13, at the Discovery Center, 1944 N. Winery Avenue in Fresno.
“Read to the Rhythm” will run from June 13 to August 2, 2015. It will feature a full lineup of performers, games, music, crafts and lunches to promote the Summer Reading Challenge.
The kickoff will include performers and games along with a special appearance by Bentley the Reading Dog. The Library’s Bookmobile will also be at the event and available for touring.
“Summer is a critical time for reading, especially so students retain what they’ve learned during the school year. The Fresno County Public Library is delighted to offer this signature program to all the residents of Fresno County,” said Laurel Prysiazny, County Librarian.
